Privacy, in plain language.

“RooMeter,” “we,” and “us” refer to the RooMeter service and its operator. For a privacy question or request, email privacy@roometer.io. That inbox must be set up and monitored before the waitlist is opened.

Information you can provide

The waitlist asks for your first name, last name, email address, and the type of smartphone you use. You may also choose to share your role and the average number of floor plans you create or need in a month. We do not ask for property addresses or floor plan data on this page.

Why we use it

We use waitlist details to record your request for early access and contact you about RooMeter early access and launch information. We will not use optional details for a different purpose without first explaining that purpose and obtaining consent where required.

Where it is stored and who processes it

When the waitlist connection is enabled, submissions will be stored in the RooMeter operator’s Google Sheet through Google Apps Script and Google Sheets. Google may process or store information outside the country where you live, including in the United States. See Google’s Privacy Policy for Google’s practices. The waitlist is not connected yet, so this page currently does not send or save submitted addresses.

The website host may process technical request data, such as IP address and browser information, in server logs to deliver and protect the site. This site loads the Space Grotesk typeface from Google Fonts, which means Google receives a request from your browser and related technical information such as your IP address. This page does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist information only while it is needed to manage early access and related launch communications. You can ask us to delete your details at any time. The waitlist operator will apply a deletion schedule when the early access period ends.

Your choices and requests

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your waitlist information, or withdraw your consent to receive early access communications, by contacting privacy@roometer.io. We will respond as required by applicable law. Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may also have rights to know about, correct, delete, or limit certain uses of personal information, and to contact a privacy regulator.

Security

We plan to limit access to waitlist information to people who need it to manage RooMeter’s early access program and use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information. No online storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children

The early access waitlist is intended for adults. Please do not submit another person’s details or information about a child.

Changes to this policy

We may update this notice if our collection, use, storage, or disclosure practices change. We will post the current version here and update its effective date.
